The Liquid application is a local processing tool. We are committed to ensuring the privacy of your data.

  • No Personal Data Collection: The Application does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personally identifiable information (such as names, email addresses, location, or device IDs) from users.
  • Image Processing is Local: All operations related to image compression, resizing, cropping, and conversion are performed entirely on your device (Mac). Your images are never uploaded to any external server.

1.2. Non-Personal Data (Analytics and Performance)

We may utilize third-party services (such as Apple App Store Connect or standard Mac system analytics) to collect aggregated, non-personal data necessary to understand the Application’s performance:

  • Aggregated Usage Data: Total number of downloads, anonymous statistics about the operating system type (e.g., macOS Sonoma), crash rates.
  • Purpose: This data is used solely for troubleshooting, improving stability, and optimizing the Application’s functionality.

2. In-App Purchases and Monetization

The Application offers a one-time purchase (Lifetime Purchase, approximately $1 USD) to unlock unlimited functionality and remove the daily image processing limit.

  • Transactions are Managed by Apple: All financial and payment details (credit card, billing information) are handled exclusively by the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not have access to this information.

3. File System Access

The Application requires explicit user permission (Security-Scoped Bookmarks) to save and work with image files within specific folders.

  • User Control: You are the one who grants and can revoke this access at any time through the macOS system dialogue.
  • Local Use Only: Even with this access, all file processing remains local and is not transmitted externally.
